Leslie Vaughn '15 is an adjunct professor with expertise in corporate law, finance, securities, and reorganization. She brings experience as a partner at Holland & Knight, LLP, where she advises private equity and other financial sponsors and private company clients in complex business transactions and joint ventures. Professor Vaughn also serves as co-director of the Texas Transactional Skills Program and was a founding member of the Texas Business Law Society.

Leslie is a Private Equity/M&A Partner at Holland & Knight LLP where she advises private equity and other financial sponsors and private company clients in complex business transactions and joint ventures, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, equity financing transactions, bankruptcy and distressed transactions and related general corporate counseling. Leslie also counsels clients on the structuring, formation and operation of private investment funds and special purpose, co-investment and other similar private investment vehicles as well as secondaries transactions. She has extensive experience in the energy industry and has advised clients across a wide variety of other industries including manufacturing, distribution, business servives, technology, luxury fashion & beauty, and healthcare.
Leslie also serves as co-director of the Texas Transactional Skills Program and was a founding member of the Texas Business Law Society.
Prior to becoming a Partner at Holland & Knight, Leslie practiced at several other leading global law firms in Houston, TX and previously served as Chief Corporate Counsel at BMC Software, a global leader in IT service management, where she provided the primary legal support for BMC's global corporate activities including M&A, finance, corporate governance, tax and benefits.
