All reservations are first come, first served.

Event spaces in the law school are available for use by officially registered law school student organizations, current faculty and staff. To request use of a Texas Law room and view availability, visit the Texas Law Rooms page. All rooms are reserved on a space-available basis. If the room is a Special Events space, you should receive an email confirming your reservation.

If you are not affiliated with the law school and would like to hold your event on UT’s campus, please view the following locations:

Please note: Special Events spaces are not to be used for classes unless a request for exception comes directly from Law-Registration in Student Affairs. Please contact for all class-related reservations, including review sessions, office hours, and make up classes.

Work orders for post-event cleanup are required for all events that include catering in high traffic areas of the law school, such as the Atrium (TNH 2.100), Jamail Pavilion (CCJ 2.300) and classrooms. Use of Special Events chaffing dishes, serving platters and water pitchers are limited to the Sheffield-Massey Room (TNH 2.111) and Jury Room (CCJ 2.310).

Tables in the Atrium

Student organizations can submit table reservations for the Atrium by emailing seven business days prior to your event. You can reserve up to two tables with no charge. Tables are available on a first come, first served basis. Special Events must be informed of plans to serve hot food on tables in the Atrium so tables can be draped with linens to prevent damage. There is no charge for the use of Special Event’s linens.
