DESCRIPTION:<p>The Domestic Violence Survivor Support Network's annual fundraising event, Pumpkins and Poker  will be on Thursday October 14th, 2010 at Buffalo Billiards.  Pumpkins and Poker is an annual tournament that raises money which enables the Domestic Violence Survivor Support Network to provide assistance to victims of domestic violence year-round.  All of the proceeds from the event go directly to victims and assists them with much needed direct services.  Examples of what these funds are used for include: providing money for bus tickets for victims who need to relocate for safety reasons; assisting with past due utility bills; past due rent and mortgage payments; all of which help empower our clients and stabilize their lives.
