SUMMARY:EIC, ME Fall, 2011 Meeting
DESCRIPTION:<p>Food, cokes, and journal folks will be meeting for our Fall EIC/ME meeting for new and prospective EIC’s/ME’s. Food and cokes/drinks will be provided. An updated list of agenda items, handbooks from our printer, nametags, journal contact directories with email, phone, and webpage addresses and all sorts of other filler will be passed out. </p>
  <p>The tentative agenda includes: 
  -Free Food (early arrivers plus 10-20 mins after 12 noon).
  -Agenda approval, inclusion or removal of agenda items (5 min).
  -Meet and Greet (15 min).
  -Tarlton Law Library (10 mins).
  -Law School Finances, Accounting and Travel (15 mins). 
  -Purchasing (10 mins).
  -Law School Development Office (10 mins).
  -Publications Department (20 mins).
  -Information Technology (IT) (10 mins).
  MISC. (remaining time).
  - Do students want regular EIC/ME meetings? end of Fall? beginning of Spring? end of Spring?
  - What can be expected of our Faculty Advisors and why are they so crucial to our journals that we dare not ask too much of them?
  - Each journal has a secure online donations webpage.
  - Reprint requests. 
  - Transfer students.
  - Article Cull.
  - Telephone/fax lines, long distance access codes.
  - Author agreements.
  - National Conference of Law Reviews.
  - Owner's Manuals and Orientation.
  - Important considerations for every journal website’s contents.
  - Is it normal to be behind in publication? What happens? Who's responsible? How is this corrected/alleviated? 
  - Symposia concerns and assurances.
