DESCRIPTION:<p>(#CEWjud) This program is highly recommended for 2Ls and 3Ls who are considering applying for <a title="UT Law Judicial Clerkships" href="http://www.utexas.edu/law/career/judicial/index.html">judicial clerkships</a>.  <a title="AAS: Robert Pitman Sworn In as U.S. Attorney" href="http://www.statesman.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/austin/courts/entries/2011/10/03/austins_robert_pitman_sworn_in.html">Robert Pitman '88</a>,  newly appointment U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas and former magistrate judge, and <a title="Lisa Hobbs" href="http://www.velaw.com/lawyers/LisaHobbs.aspx">Lisa Hobbs '00</a>, former Supreme Court of Texas General Counsel currently with Vinson &amp; Elkins, will tell you why clerking is a valuable experience and how to prepare now to become a great applicant. Get tips on selecting courts and judges, asking for letters of recommendation, and putting together a good application.
