SUMMARY:Postgraduate Public Interest Fellowships
DESCRIPTION:<p>Are you a 2L thinking of applying for a postgraduate public interest fellowship? Are you a 3L thinking about applying for one after your judicial clerkship? This panel presentation will address how you should be preparing now to position yourself as a viable candidate for these highly competitive fellowships. Panelists include Ian Spechler ‘07, Staff Attorney with <a title="Disability Rights Texas" href="http://www.disabilityrightstx.org">Disability Rights Texas</a> and former Skadden fellow; Adriana Rodriguez ‘11, EJW fellow with <a title="TRLA in Laredo" href="http://www.trla.org/office/laredo">Texas RioGrande Legal Aid in Laredo</a>; Jordan Pollock ‘12, current 3L fellowship applicant; and Nicole Simmons, Public Interest Career Counselor. Moderated by <a title="Mary Crouter, UT Law" href="http://www.utexas.edu/law/faculty/mc22656/">Mary Crouter, Assistant Director of the William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law</a>.</p>
