DESCRIPTION:<p>Enjoy free drinks and food at the first American Constitution Society Student-Attorney Happy Hour of the year next Thursday, October 13, at 5:30 pm at Scholz's Garten on 16th and San Jacinto (<a href="http://www.scholzgarten.net/">http://www.scholzgarten.net/</a>).  It will be a great opportunity to meet local progressive attorneys, professors, and students.   Additionally, you will be able to sign up to have a local ACS attorney mentor.</p>
  <p>Who we are: We are the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy, one of the country's leading progressive legal organizations. ACS is a national organization comprised of law students, lawyers, academics, and community members who are working to ensure that the fundamental principles of human dignity, individual rights and liberties, genuine equality, and access to justice are in their rightful, central place in American law.</p>\n\nIf you need an accommodation to participate in this event, please contact the event sponsor or the Texas Law Special Events Office at specialevents@law.utexas.edu no later than seven business days prior to the event.
