DESCRIPTION:<p>Do you wonder what your professors work on outside of the classroom? Here’s your chance to find out! Our next speaker is Professor Bill Allison, Director of the Criminal Defense Clinic at UT Law.  Professor Allison will discuss some of his notable cases, including the Michael Morton case. Morton spent nearly 25 years in prison for a murder he did not commit and was released in October, 2011.  Join us on Wednesday, February 1 at 3:30 pm in the Sheffield Room. Light refreshments will be served.  We will be recording the session for those who can’t make it – a link will be posted on the Library’s blog.   </p>\n\nIf you need an accommodation to participate in this event, please contact the event sponsor or the Texas Law Special Events Office at specialevents@law.utexas.edu no later than seven business days prior to the event.
