Join us to learn more about the situation and the roles humanitarian, human rights, and immigration law have played in shaping it. Our speakers will include Professor Denise Gilman, former Director of the Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project at the Washington Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs and Director of the Immigration Clinic; Professor Michael Churgin, an expert on immigration law; and Alex McLelland, a graduate student focusing on Syria at the UT Middle Eastern Studies Program.
