SUMMARY:UPDATED-Constitution Day w/Prof. Forbath
DESCRIPTION:
Join ACS and Professor William Forbath to celebrate the 227th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution. We will have snacks!

NEW TIME! 2:15-3:15pm in TNH 2.124.

Progressives have largely forgotten how to think and talk about the constitutional underpinnings for addressing want and inequity in American society. The present challenge for progressives is to assert a constitutional vision of a national government empowered to promote the general welfare. Such is the position of Texas Law’s own Professor Forbath, and we will be discussing these propositions on the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution. Come after lunch for something sweet to eat.
\n\nIf you need an accommodation to participate in this event, please contact the event sponsor or the Texas Law Special Events Office at specialevents@law.utexas.edu no later than seven business days prior to the event.
