The Equal Justice Works Conference & Career Fair is one of the largest public service job fairs in the country and will take place October 24-25, 2014 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Bethesda, MD. The Career Fair features both preselected interviews and informational interviews.
Due to NALP guidelines, 1Ls are not eligible to interview with employers during the Equal Justice Works Career Fair. However, 1Ls may informally talk to employers during Table Talk on Friday and Saturday, and may also apply for the travel sponsorship below.
Dean Farnsworth has generously agreed to sponsor airfare for several current law students to attend the Equal Justice Works Conference & Career Fair. To apply for a travel sponsorship, please submit your resume, unofficial law transcript, and a brief essay (no more than two pages) describing why you would like to attend the Fair and why you need sponsorship. If you have applied for interviews, please mention that as well.
