DESCRIPTION:<p>Due to inclement weather, Lives in the Law with Dale Ho will take place on Thursday, March 5, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the Eidman Courtroom.</p>
  <p><a href="https://www.aclu.org/blog/author/dale-ho">Dale Ho, director of the ACLU’s Voting Rights Project</a>, will speak at 11:45 a.m. in the Eidman Courtroom about voter suppression at the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. From 12:45-1:45 p.m., he’ll meet informally with students in the Jury Room to discuss his career path and answer questions.</p>
  <p>Ho supervises the ACLU's voting rights litigation nationwide. He has litigated cases under the federal Voting Rights Act and the National Voter Registration Act, including Shelby County v. Holder, and is a frequent television commentator on voting rights issues. Prior to joining the ACLU, he was Assistant Counsel at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.</p>
  <p>Lunch will be served at 12:45 p.m. RSVP by Wednesday, March 4, on <a href="https://law-utexas-csm.symplicity.com/students/">Symplicity</a> by selecting the 'Events' tab.</p>
