DESCRIPTION:<p>Pro Bono for a Cause: Pro Bono Collaboration to Represent Immigrant Families 
  and End Family Detention</p>
  <p>In honor of the American Bar Association’s National Pro Bono Celebration, the Mithoff Pro Bono Program will bring together representatives from Akin Gump, Lincoln-Goldfinch Law, RAICES, and the Texas Law clinical program to discuss their work with immigrant families detained in Karnes. Their discussion will focus on topics including how lawyers in different practice settings can collaborate on coordinated pro bono efforts, and how pro bono representation in individual cases can contribute to campaigns for broader social justice goals. </p>
  <p>Lunch will be served. Please RSVP to Sarah Sedgwick at ssedgwick@law.utexas.edu no later than noon on Friday, October 23.
