DESCRIPTION:<p>In 2014 President Obama announced two new immigration initiatives: an expansion of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA+) and the creation of Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA).  Texas and 25 other states filed a lawsuit to stop them from being enacted, and when the case reached the Supreme Court it ended in a 4-4 tie that lead to both DACA+ and DAPA from being enacted.</p>
  <p>Join the Texas Law chapter of the American Constitution Society for a discussion with Nina Perales, Vice President of Litigation at MALDEF, on the future of DACA+ and DAPA .
