DESCRIPTION:<p>Working for a nonprofit or government agency this summer? This session will prepare you to thrive and get the most out of your summer work experience. Professor Scott McCown will present legal ethics basics and 2Ls and 3Ls familiar with nonprofit and government settings will discuss how to handle opportunities and challenges that come up in these unique work environments, including receiving great work and supervision, and steering clear of ethical pitfalls.  </p>
  <p>Part of the Texas Law Professional Development Institute: Prepared for Public Service Practice series.  Sponsored by the Career Services Office, the William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law, and the Rapoport Center for Human Rights and Justice.
