DESCRIPTION:<p>Broadly, the Symposium aims to educate lawyers and other law professionals about the value of, and best practices for, diversifying and improving access to opportunities in the legal profession for people of color and diverse backgrounds. </p>
  <p>Therefore, the Symposium will improve its attendees’ understanding of such topics as:
  - the current state of diversity, and how to improve it, in professional legal practices;
  - implicit bias in hiring and firing decisions in the legal academy, and in public and private legal practice;
  - the current state of diversity, and how to improve it, in law schools; and
