SUMMARY:Legislative Update on Texas Water Issues
DESCRIPTION:<p>Ken Kramer, Water Resources Chair of the Sierra Club - Lone Star Chapter, and Chris Mullins, Legislative and Policy Consultant, will be talking about water issues addressed in the 2017 Texas legislative session. Ken has been involved in water legislation in Texas for over thirty years, and Chris recently began working with Ken during this past session. Ken will cover groundwater issues, and Chris will cover surface water issues. Both will be great professional contacts for anyone who hopes to pursue water law or any type of environmentally positive lobbying.</p>
  <p>This is the follow-up to the event hosted last year with Ken Kramer. We hope to see you there! Lunch will be provided.
