SUMMARY:2019 Women in Law Institute
DESCRIPTION:
Described by one partner at a top law firm as “the most practical
tool I’ve encountered in my 20 years of practicing,” the Women in
Law Institute is an all-day, intensive workshop for law students,
judicial clerks, and LL.M.’s. Participants can look forward to expert
presentations on the essential skills for navigating a successful
career in law: effective communication, self-promotion, and
networking. Following each lecture, students work in small groups
led by distinguished practitioners (3:1 ratio) to perfect these skills
through practice and individualized critiques in a supportive
environment.

\n\nIf you need an accommodation to participate in this event, please contact the event sponsor or the Texas Law Special Events Office at specialevents@law.utexas.edu no later than seven business days prior to the event.
