SUMMARY:Panel on Special Education Law in Texas
DESCRIPTION:
Special education law is rich with opportunities for law students and lawyers, either as a practice focus or as pro bono work. This panel is geared towards law students who hope to do special education cases now or later in solo or firm practice. Experienced attorneys will describe their compelling special education work and recent developments in the law. The goal is to describe how law students can get involved in small or big ways in taking on this kind of work – in informal negotiation settings, in trial, or on appeal. Come explore how you might help a child!
