Join the Texas Federalist Society as we host a discussion about the role that criminal law, enforcement, and punishment should occupy in American life. Panelists Marc Levin (Chief of Policy and Innovation for the Right on Crime initiative at the Texas Public Policy Foundation), Josh Hammer (Opinion Editor, Newsweek, and of counsel at First Liberty Institute), and moderator Lee Kovarsky (Bryant Smith Chair in Law and Co-Director, Capital Punishment Center at UT Law) as they tackle issues around the proper scope of the criminal code, the types of conduct that should result in arrest, and solutions for overcriminalization consistent with public safety.
