DESCRIPTION:<p>In 2000, the United States Supreme Court decided Bush v. Gore, ending vote recounts in Florida and securing George W. Bush's presidential election. Now, twenty years later, another potentially contested election result looms on the horizon. Join the Texas Federalist Society as we host a discussion analyzing the Bush v. Gore decision and how, if at all, it informs relevant election law questions today. The event will take place on Monday, November 2 at 12 pm, featuring Professor Mimi Marziani (University of Texas Law), Professor Michael Morley (Florida State Law), and Jason Glahn (Senior Legislative Analyst, Missouri Legislature).</p>
  <p>The first 50 Texas Law students to register will receive a $10 redemption code for DoorDash to enjoy a meal during the event.</p>
