SUMMARY:Making Sure You Deliver at Your Firm
DESCRIPTION:<p>The <a href="https://law.utexas.edu/career/texas-law-professional-development-institute/">Texas Law Professional Development Series</a> is taught by industry experts and practicing attorneys, covering facets of new attorney professionalism most sought after by legal employers. <strong>This must-attend program will help you prepare for your summer clerkship or postgraduate job. </strong></p>
  <p>This session covers communication with the various stakeholders a junior associate will encounter in a law firm, from partners to clients to support staff including how expectations differ between partners and associates, and how to customize your communication style to the partner, the client, and your peers, and how to develop beneficial working relationships with the support staff at your firm. Panelists will offer tips and tools for communicating in a professional manner across a diverse and inclusive law firm environment, including a discussion about the role that technology/social media/apps/texting plays in your communications and legal practice.</p>
