DESCRIPTION:<p>BOA is excited to announce its 2-part education series, Foley Foundations! Centered around the upcoming intramural Foley &amp; Lardner Novice Mock Trial Competition, these sessions are designed for competitors and other BOA members to learn the mechanics (and secrets!) of competing in mock trial. If you think you are interested in mock trial and want a place to start, or if you want to learn more before the upcoming competition, then these sessions are for you. </p>
  <p>Foley Foundations Session 1: Overview, Content, and Procedures
  Saturday, September 24, 2022; 1 PM - 2:30 PM; ZOOM</p>
  <p>Foley Foundations Session 2: Evidentiary Essentials and In-person Decorum
  Tuesday, October 4, 2022; 11:30 - 1 PM; TNH 3.142; Light refreshments provided! We will have experienced mock trial competitors joining us to go over the curriculum and answer your questions. </p>
  <p>You can sign up for both sessions or just for one. You DO NOT have to be signed up for the competition, but you DO have to be a member of the Board of Advocates to attend these sessions. Please email ahousini@utexas.edu if you are interested in joining the Board of Advocates.  </p>
