DESCRIPTION:<p>If/When/How, ACS, TJCLCR, and the Center for Women in Law are hosting former Texas Law Professor Alex Albright for a discussion about the state of abortion laws in Texas. She'll provide an overview of the Texas statutes that prohibit abortion (pre-Roe, Trigger Law, and SB8) and litigation concerning those statutes (SB8 litigation in state court and “right to travel” litigation in federal court). She will also talk about threats of litigation made to law firms and other businesses in Texas and plans for new legislation this session.
