SUMMARY:CWIL Ex Libris Series Event: Her Honor
DESCRIPTION:<p>Join the Center for Women in Law via Zoom on March 22 at 12pm CST for an Ex Libris Series event featuring the book, Her Honor.</p>
  <p>Lauren Stiller Rikleen, lawyer and author, will join Judge Bernice Bouie Donald, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and retired Justice Nan Duffly, Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, to discuss the topics covered in Her Honor: Stories of Challenge and Triumph from Women Judges. The book, edited by Rikleen and published by the American Bar Association, is a collection of 25 chapters by and about some of the nation’s most respected women judges, each containing nuanced, personal stories of the challenges they faced and overcame in their legal careers.</p>
  <p>During this conversation, the panel discuss the history of women in the judiciary, the unique challenges they have faced, the evolution of the judiciary, and what that means for the future of the legal profession.</p>
