Civil procedure is often presented as a neutral framework governing access to the courts. Join Professor Dickerson for an alternative curriculum discussion exploring how race and power shape procedural law, including the ways due process protections have been threatened in majority-Black communities. This conversation invites critical reflection on whether procedural rules truly advance fairness and equal justice.
