SUMMARY:Demystifying the USAO and the DOJ
DESCRIPTION:
Please RSVP by Wednesday, September 27, on Symplicity.

Learn about how an immigrant son of a cab driver went from serving on the board of the ACLU of Texas to becoming the top federal law enforcement officer in the Southern District of Texas, a district that spans 44,000 square miles, and has over 9,000,000 residents. It’s a strange story that involves the generosity of an Indian in Kentucky, the pursuit of terrorists, the search for corrupt officials, protecting civil rights, calling out the cartels, and leading over 400 people according to the “Mama Rule.”
\n\nIf you need an accommodation to participate in this event, please contact the event sponsor or the Texas Law Special Events Office at specialevents@law.utexas.edu no later than seven business days prior to the event.
