SUMMARY:AuSSLC Volunteer Day
DESCRIPTION:
Join us at AuSSLC on October 27, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM if you are interested in guardianship law.

AuSSLC is the Austin State Supported Living Center, where the state takes care of people with severe disabilities who often have no family or are estranged from their families. AuSSLC has a close relationship with the Travis County Probate Courts, due to the courts' role in administering guardianships and the county's mental health court. Judge Herman and/or Judge Chu from the Travis County Probate Court may be in attendance. Many of our wards under guardianship are there as well.
\n\nIf you need an accommodation to participate in this event, please contact the event sponsor or the Texas Law Special Events Office at specialevents@law.utexas.edu no later than seven business days prior to the event.
