SUMMARY:Academy for the Advocate Info Session
DESCRIPTION:<p>Each summer, Baylor University Law School and the University of St. Andrews, in St. Andrews, Scotland, partner together to offer the Academy of the Advocate. Here, students step into an immersive, two-week trial and appellate advocacy experience led by some of the finest civil trial lawyers, criminal prosecutors, sitting judges, and renowned advocacy professors in America. This summer, the Academy will take place July 26 – August 9, 2026 in St. Andrews, Scotland.</p>
  <p>If you are interested in learning more about the 2026 Academy of the Advocate, please join us, along with Robert Little (Director of Advocacy Programs and Lecturer at Baylor Law School) for an Academy of the Advocate info session on Thursday, 2/19 from 12-12:50 pm.  Lunch included!  If you plan to attend, please email Marla Massin, mmassin@law.utexas.edu, by Tuesday, 2/17 so we can get an accurate headcount for food. </p>\n\nIf you need an accommodation to participate in this event, please contact the event sponsor or the Texas Law Special Events Office at specialevents@law.utexas.edu no later than seven business days prior to the event.
