SUMMARY:Rabbi Nathan's Case Against Texas
DESCRIPTION:<p>The Bech-Loughlin First Amendment Center and the Jewish Legal Society are excited to welcome in Rabbi Mara Nathan to discuss her case: Rabbi Nathan v. Alamo Heights ISD. Rabbi Nathan is challenging Texas’s requirement for public schools to post the Ten Commandments in classrooms. She will be joined by her counsel from the ACLU. </p>
  <p>Professor Michael Helfand, a leading establishment clause scholar will speak alongside Rabbi Nathan. His  recent work has focused on Ten Commandments laws.</p>
  <p>A kosher lunch will be served.</p>
