2013-14 Human Rights Scholars Program
Deadline to apply is Monday, April 15, 2013

The Bernard and Audre Rapoport Center for Human Rights and Justice is currently accepting applications for the 2013-14 Human Rights Scholars Program.  Human Rights Scholars make up a core group of J.D. students actively involved with the Rapoport Center.  These students are committed to the study and practice of international human rights law and have a strong background and demonstrated interest in pursuing career opportunities related to international human rights and justice.  Scholars will have the opportunity to participate in collaborative research on human rights topics and to work closely with the Rapoport Center’s programs and planning over the course of the academic year.  Each Human Rights Scholar receives a substantial stipend (typically $5000).  One or more students will receive the scholarship(s), and will be expected to commit 300 hours to the Center over the course of the year.  2Ls and 3Ls are eligible.  Apply by Monday, April 15, 2013.

An information session about the Human Rights Scholars Program will be held Tuesday, April 2, from 12-1:00 p.m. in the Rapoport Center Conference Room (TNH 3.119F).
