M.D. Anderson Fellowship – Applications due by April 19, 2016

The Institute for Transnational Law at the University of Texas School of Law is launching a new program expanding its vital work of transnational legal education by creating a fellowship program for recent Texas Law J.D. graduates.  This program, with funding from the M.D. Anderson Foundation, will make it possible for one to three recent graduates (December 2015, May 2016, and August 2016) to gain valuable work experience abroad or in the United States working on issues of transnational law.

These students will be named M.D. Anderson Fellows”and will become part of an elite group of legal professionals.  The fellowships will fund full-time work with an existing organization, and each fellow will receive $45,000.

Students and recent grads may apply for placements arranged by the Institute with the World Bank and with the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.  You are also encouraged to propose your own placement with a nonprofit organization.

Applications are online and  are due by noon, Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Fellows will be announced as soon as possible thereafter, by early May at the latest.
