Squire Patton Boggs Foundation Public Policy Fellowship – Applications due March 13, 2017
The Squire Patton Boggs Foundation is pleased to contribute a fellowship worth $5,000 to support a University of Texas School of Law student who has completed either his/her first or second year of law school and will be interning in a public policy position this summer. A preference will be given to military veterans and students with a strong interest in international matters, either in Washington or abroad. To apply for the fellowship, please submit the following materials to the Career Services Office c/o Rachel Quiroz either in person in TNH 3.130 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org:
- Law school transcript;
- Statement of interest—two to three double-spaced pages describing the organization you will work for, the type of work you anticipate you will be doing, and why you are seeking the fellowship;
- Brief statement addressing internship logistics—indicate the duration (weeks and hours) of your internship and whether you are receiving any pay or funding; and
- Supporting statement from your sponsoring organization—confirming your offer and indicating the type of legal work you will do during your internship.
Applications must be submitted by noon on Monday, March 13, 2017.
