Law Student Program at the State Bar of Texas’ Texas Minority Counsel Program (TMCP)

The Texas Minority Counsel Program (TMCP) is a client development, networking, and CLE event for diverse attorneys in Texas. The TMCP was created in 1993 with the mission of increasing opportunities for minority, women, and LGBT attorneys who provide legal services to corporate and government clients, and to expose those organizations to the legal talent of diverse attorneys in Texas. This is a great way to meet alumni, seek a mentor, and build your network. Texas Law students are invited to participate in one of the following options, which is free of charge:

Option 1: TMCP Receptions
4:00-5:00 p.m. Law Student Reception and 5:15-6:30 p.m. TMCP Networking Reception

Option 2: Career Paths Luncheon Panel and TMCP Receptions
11:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Baker Botts L.L.P. to host (limited to 20 students) | followed by the receptions above in Option 1

Panel from Baker Botts includes Joyce Banks, Josh Gonzales, Lakshmi Ramanathan, Liam O’Rourke, and more to be announced.

Option 3: Career Paths Luncheon Panel, Professional Development CLE Track, and TMCP Receptions

11:45-6:30 p.m. includes the panel luncheon and receptions above, as well as CLE track during the afternoon
