Goodwin 2L Diversity Fellowship

Goodwin’s 2L Diversity Fellowship Program provides second-year law students from underrepresented backgrounds with awards of $15,000 each to help cover expenses for their third year of law school (2021-2022). The $15,000 award is contingent on the student accepting an offer to join Goodwin’s 2021 summer associate program and on accepting an offer, if extended, to join the firm as a full-time associate. The award will be paid out upon completion of the summer program.

Candidates interested in applying must complete the online application and include a resume, undergraduate transcript, law school transcript and diversity statement. The diversity statement should address, in 250 words or less, the applicant’s commitment to diversity (past, present, or future plans) and/or describe how diversity has played a role in pursuing a legal career.

Finalists who are invited to join the virtual round table discussion will be notified on a rolling basis, but no later than Friday, December 18, 2020.
