McAndrews, Held & Malloy LTD Diversity in Patent Law 1L Fellowship

(Updated 12/30/2020) Each year, McAndrews offers a $15,000 fellowship and a paid summer clerkship to a qualified first-year law student at an ABA-accredited law school who, in the firm’s view, is committed to meaningfully contributing to diversity and inclusion in the field of intellectual property law, possesses a degree in science or engineering, and intends to pursue a career in patent law in Chicago. Applications for the 2021 fellowship will be accepted, beginning on September 1, 2020, through January 31, 2021, but we encourage candidates to apply as early as possible. As a summer associate, the Diversity Fellow will gain experience in a wide range of intellectual property law and will be eligible to receive an offer to return for a second summer. To facilitate the Diversity Fellow’s professional growth and learning, a member of the McAndrews Diversity Committee will serve as a mentor and resource.
