This course focuses on the process and principles of drafting transactional (i.e., non-litigation) documents. Students write, revise, and comment on a variety of documents, either in whole or in part. In recent classes students have drafted ordinances, waivers, and leases and have reviewed or negotiated real estate sales contracts and contracts for the sale of a business.
