Description
The primary goal of this course is to introduce students to the theories and doctrines of statutory interpretation. Additional topics that we will cover include theories of Congress, theories of the electoral process (i.e., voting rights and electoral structures), and agency implementation of legislation. There is no substantive area of law that will be our sole focus; rather, the central concepts students take from this course will offer wide applicability across different areas of law, and should be useful both academically and professionally.Instructors
