Description
This course centers on the law governing the conduct of lawyers and the legal profession. Central to the course are issues arising out of confidentiality concerns, including the lawyer's duty to preserve a client's confidences, conflicts issues, restrictions on communications with another lawyer's client, and conduct during trial. The course will also cover issues involving the nature of the lawyer-client relationship, such as fees and client autonomy, as well as issues regarding the regulation of the legal profession.Instructors
