Brief Writing and Oral Advocacy covers persuasive written legal analysis and persuasive fact writing for the appellate brief, as well as oral argument in an appellate court. Students will write an appellate brief and make an oral argument. As part of the course, students must attend four outside-of-class lectures by appellate-practice experts.
Two credits, graded. Open to 1Ls only.
