Description
This course will study the world nonprofit organizations, with emphasis on charitable organizations. We will examine applicable laws (state and federal – including tax laws), forms of organization, organizational documentation, client communications, operations, funding techniques, and termination of the organization. My goal will be to equip each student with the basic knowledge and resources to communicate with a client, form and document an organization, deal with common tax issues, address funding needs and terminate a nonprofit organization.Instructors
