Description
This two-credit course will focus on Texas environmental law and the state’s implementation of federal environmental programs, with an emphasis on air, climate change, water and waste issues. The student will develop a knowledge of Texas' implementation of the federal Clean Air Act, federal greenhouse gas regulations and federal water regulations, in addition to the Texas Clean Air Act, Texas water law, the Texas Solid Waste Disposal Act and other waste issues. The course will also provide an in-depth review of Texas administrative law procedures and representing clients before state agencies and commissions. The format of the class will include weekly reading assignments and class discussions.Textbooks ( * denotes required )
