Description
This seminar will consider some of the laws, policies, and ideals affecting nonprofit organizations, to include transnational considerations. The seminar will consider various topics including how such organizations contribute to civil society and social pluralism, how they cooperate with or rival for-profit entities, and how they should be governed. Students will be required to write a legal or policy-oriented research paper on any topic dealing with Nonprofit Organizations. May be taken by anyone who has not taken a similar offering by the Professor.Textbooks ( * denotes required )
