Description
This course will survey the law governing the American political process. We will examine the principles that shape our political institutions and the relationship between democratic procedures and contemporary politics. Our topics will include the individual right to participate, the regulation of political parties, the Voting Rights Act, and political and racial gerrymandering. There will be a scheduled exam.
