Description

This course is designed to sharpen decision-making abilities when ethical issues are murky and difficult, particularly unanticipated problems that arise in real world fact patterns.

We will utilize the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct and the American Bar Association Model Rules as our organizational structure.  We anticipate outside reading assignments to increase abilities to research ethical sources.  No text book is required for this course. 

This course will be helpful in preparing for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination ("MPRE").  It will cover attorneys' fees, conflicts, duties to clients, the courts and other attorneys.
