  3. This event has passed. The Center for Women in Law co-sponsored an event with ACS, TJCLCR, and If/When/How. The event, Lunch & Learn: Abortion Laws in Texas Post-Dobbs With former Texas Law Professor Alex Albright was held on March 21 at 12pm at the University of Texas School of Law in TNH 2.124. Lunch was provided.

  4. Melissa Murray gave an address entitled “Race-ing Roe and Woke Warriors: Weaponizing Racial Justice at the Supreme Court.”

  5. This Perspectives series panel discussion addressed how women can rejoin the workforce after an extended “gap” in their professional timeline. This virtual event was presented in partnership with Mother Attorney Mentoring Association (MAMAs) of Austin.

  6. CWIL’s Deputy Director, Amber Hackett Crosby, discussed fixed mindset versus growth mindset as they relate to attorneys, and provided steps that each of us can take to grow our own mindsets at the State Bar of Texas Tax Section’s 2018-2019 Leadership Academy.

  7. Sunu Chandy of the National Women’s Law Center discussed current litigation, in which the NWLC has a leadership role, challenging the Trump administration’s efforts to roll back civil rights protections in education, healthcare, and the workplace.

  8. Texas Women Lawyers has hosted its Annual Meeting and CLE for more than 20 years, and put on another powerful program on March 3, 2017 at SMU Dedman School of Law.

  9. A panel featuring prominent women attorneys discussed the intersectionality of gender and race in the legal profession.
