The Center for Women in Law honors the life and legacy of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Justice Ginsburg was a pioneer and trailblazer for women’s rights and gender equality throughout her life and professional career.
In her own words, Justice Ginsburg described women’s rights as “an essential part of the overall human rights agenda, trained on the equal dignity and ability to live in freedom all people should enjoy.”
The Center for Women in Law is forever grateful for Justice Ginsburg’s contributions to advance our profession and mission, and we will forever honor her memory and carry forward her work.
Founding members of the Center for Women in Law commented:

She has done so much to protect the rule of law and the rights of those with limited access to the justice system. I can only hope that her legacy will be as enduring as the impact she has had on me and so many of the women and girls of this nation,” said Marcy Hogan Greer, Managing Partner of Alexander Dubose & Jefferson, Austin
“Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s sharp legal mind, powerful words and strong advocacy for gender equality and women’s rights inspired millions.
