Linda Chanow, Executive Director of CWIL, was quoted in Law360 regarding the new EEOC rule issued by President Obama to uncover potential pay gap discrepancies.
“For a lot of people, they believe that they’re acting fairly and making accurate decisions, but the studies on unconscious bias show that the intent does not result in actions that comply with that intent. The way to fight unconscious bias is to have the actual hard data.”

President Obama has expanded an executive order requiring companies to report to the federal government what they pay employees on criteria of race, gender, and ethnicity, as a means to close the pay gap.

CWIL Leader-in-Residence Roberta D. Liebenberg, a partner at Fine Kaplan and Black in Philadelphia, was named to the Board of Directors of the American Antitrust Institute (“AAI”). The AAI is a national research, education and advocacy organization whose mission is to advance the role of competition in the economy, sustain the vitality of the antitrust laws, and protect consumers.
