Government Internship Application
While we encourage you to get your application in as soon as possible, we recognize that students often do not secure qualifying placements until right before the start of the semester. We will make registration accommodations on a case-by-case basis and do everything we can to ensure that a student with a qualifying placement can take this class.
Government agencies are eligible placements; courts are not eligible. If you will be interning for a state appellate or federal court or an administrative law judge, you should apply to the judicial internship program instead of the government internship program. The internship must involve the student and the supervising attorney working in person; regular remote work is not permitted. Students and supervisors are expected to work together at their placement offices.
Please review the course website thoroughly before applying. Instructor approval is required for registration. NOTE: you must submit a resume and an unofficial copy of your transcript along with this application.
