Criminal Liability for Child Abuse in Schools Research Project with INCLUDE

Students will work with Prof. Lucy Wood for a week over winter break. Students will research case law and scholarship to catalogue instances in which educators have been found criminally responsible for the abuse of children with disabilities in special education contexts, and work with Prof. Wood to create a repository of such cases.

INCLUDE enables students to provide free legal services to persons with disabilities and their families. INCLUDE is an internal project of the Richard and Ginni Mithoff Pro Bono Program, in partnership with the William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law.
